"NTLDR failed" error message SYMPTOM When trying to boot a Windows PE or BartPE boot image over the network, the target PC displays the following error message: NTLDR failed CAUSE A possible cause for this problem is that your TFTP server is not suitable for booting Windows PE over the network. RESOLUTION If you are using the bootix Windows based TFTP Server, use the version that ships with the BootManage Administrator v7. If you are using a third-party TFTP server, make sure that is capable of booting Windows PE over the network. |
