Most UNIX systems already contain the server programs BOOTPD and TFTPD that the BootManage® TCP/IP BOOT-PROM requires to be running on the boot server machine. If using a boot server machine with one of the operating systems Novell NetWare, OS/2, Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/ME or Windows NT/2000, you won't find these server programs. On the BOOTPD and TFTPD server disk you find special versions of BOOTPD und TFTPD for the operating systems mentioned above. |
